The Single Tower

This piece, “The Single Tower” was created early 2015,  The piece is long and slender and towers majestically upright standing 170 cm tall and is mounted on a slim line 30 cm diameter, stainless steal base.

It commands attention with it’s great height and remarkable pattern.

The face side of the Single Tower has an amazing formation and pattern, artistically carved out, over decades, by millions of insects and some of natures’ harshest weather conditions. The result of which is a truly unique wooden sculpture.

This timber art piece is full of beautiful yellow wood grain over the contrasting black of the dead wood and holes. The rear top side of the piece is almost completely removed.
